Embracing Victory: A Testament of Faith and Healing

In the tapestry of life, there are seasons of despair and seasons of triumph. For me, the journey through leukemia has been a testament to the unwavering grace of God.

As I pen down these final words, I am filled with gratitude for the gift of life, for the victories won, and for the hope that shines brightly on the horizon. In the darkest moments of uncertainty, I clung to faith, knowing that every trial had its appointed season.

Throughout this book, I’ve shared the highs and lows of my battle with leukemia—times when hope flickered dimly and moments of divine intervention that defied all odds. But above all, I’ve witnessed the power of prayer, the comfort of community, and the boundless love of a God who never forsakes His children.

To my church family, whose prayers sustained me through the darkest nights, I offer my deepest gratitude. Your unwavering support and encouragement lifted my spirits and carried me through the storm.

As I reflect on the past five years since leaving the hospital, I am reminded of the countless blessings that have adorned my path. God’s goodness has been my constant companion, guiding me through the valleys and leading me to the mountaintops of victory.

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to every medical professional who played a role in my healing journey. From consultants to nurses, your expertise and compassion were beacons of hope in my time of need. To the staff at Barnet General Hospital and University College London Hospital, your dedication to patient care is truly commendable.

To my spiritual mentors and friends, your presence brought comfort and strength when I needed it most. Pastor Philip Coffin, Rev (Dr) Victor Akerele, and the entire congregation of The Kings House Edmonton, Life Church Cuffley, and First Baptist Church, Festac Town Lagos, I am forever grateful for your prayers and support.

And to my beloved family—my rock and my refuge—words cannot express the depth of my gratitude. To my wife, Helen, whose unwavering love sustained me through the darkest nights, and to my daughter, Elizabeth, whose tender care brought light into the shadows, you are my greatest blessings.

As I close this chapter of my journey, I leave you with a message of hope and healing. No matter the trial you face, hold fast to faith, for God is faithful to His promises. With Him, all things are possible, and victory is assured.

If you find yourself in the throes of illness or adversity, remember the words of Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo: “It is not over until God says it is over.” Let faith be your guide, and trust in the goodness of the Lord.

To those seeking solace and strength, I offer prayers for healing and restoration. May God’s grace surround you, His peace sustain you, and His love uphold you in every season of life.

And finally, as I bid farewell to these pages, I invite you to join me in celebrating the victory that is ours in Christ. Together, let us proclaim, “The battle is won, and the victory is complete!”

As I step into this new season of life, I do so with gratitude in my heart and praise on my lips. For His mercy endures forever, and His love knows no bounds.

With faith as my compass and hope as my guide, I embrace the future with anticipation and joy. For in every season, God is faithful, and His promises are true.

To Him be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.
