Prof. Alexander B. Olawaiye, MD, FRCOG, FACOG, FACS.

Professor Olawaiye is a medical graduate of the premier University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He proceeded to the United Kingdom where he underwent post graduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology and became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. His fellowship training in gynaecologic oncology was at the Harvard Medical School. He has authored multiple book chapters and more than 100 peer-reviewed publications in international medical journals. Professor Olawaiye possesses many accolades in gynecologic cancer research.

• He is a Professor and the Vice Chair for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the Department of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Reproductive Sciences, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States.
• He is the Director of gynaecologic cancer research and Director of minimal access gynaecologic oncology surgery in the same institution.
• He is a member of the executive council of the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) and Chair of the AJCC’s Female Reproductive Panel
• Professor Olawaiye is an Associate Director of member of the Gynaecologic Oncology Group Foundation.
• He has authored multiple book chapters and more than 100 peer-reviewed publications in international medical journals. 

The Professor will be bringing a wealth of expert advice and support to his role as member  of the Advisory Board.
