Can I give Blood after surviving Cancer?

No, you cannot give blood nor donate stem cell after going through treatment

What Do We Do?

We organise Health Awareness Seminars and Lectures by inviting Expert knowledge specialists to speak at our events. We Fundraise to provide support for Leukaemia cancer patients needing transplants. We support Research into Leukaemia Cancer Cure. We provide support to Leukaemia Cancer patients and their families through our advocacy, visiting and referral programs. We provide “Life After Cancer” support through our Cancer Survivors Forum We Partner with Bone Marrow registry of Nigeria on a long-term plan to establish the third Bone Marrow registry in Africa. We support specialist nursing training in cancer care in Nigeria.

Can I give blood if I am pregnant or nursing a baby?

No, You cannot donate at pregnancy or when nursing a baby. However, you can donate your umbilical Chord after the birth of your baby. This is one of the safest ways to donate stem cell. Your child can tart life journey by helping another life.

What does it require for me to register?

Yes, you can donate as many times as you want, provided you meet the donor eligibility criteria during the time to donate.
